Policies & Licensing
License terms, usage policies, and refund conditions for all AXIS Project assets and tools.
Model & Asset Licensing
The licenses in this section apply to the 3D models, textures and source files sold through the marketplaces (the portfolio assets). For the paid add-ons (FiberBake, AXIS Core, AXIS Panel), see Add-on Licensing below.
Royalty-Free License
For personal or commercial use by a single artist.
ALLOWED
- Use in freelance projects, games, animation, and advertising.
- Deliverables for clients, renders or baked assets only.
NOT ALLOWED
- Sharing, reselling, or redistributing the original source files (.blend, textures, etc.).
- Creating new assets or derivative products based on the model for resale or giveaway.
Pro License
Required by Fab (Epic Games marketplace). Extends the standard Royalty-Free license for broader commercial use cases within a single production or studio context.
ALLOWED
- All uses covered by the Royalty-Free license.
- Use in commercial products distributed to end users (e.g. shipped games, films).
NOT ALLOWED
- External redistribution or resale of any source files.
- Inclusion in asset packs, bundles, or libraries for redistribution.
General Restrictions
The following actions are strictly prohibited for the model and asset files, under any license type. (The add-ons' GPL-licensed code is covered separately under Add-on Licensing.)
- Selling, redistributing, or sharing the original files in any form.
- Using the assets in AI training datasets or any form of machine learning.
- Converting or minting the assets as NFTs or any blockchain-based product.
- Including the assets in free or paid 3D libraries, bundles, or databases.

Usage Terms
All models, textures, and related files are provided for artistic and educational purposes under the license acquired at the time of purchase. By downloading and using this content, you agree to the following:
- The models may be used in personal, educational, or commercial projects, as long as they are not redistributed, resold, or shared as standalone files.
- Redistribution or resale of the original files, modified or unmodified, is strictly prohibited. This includes sharing them in any form that allows third parties to access or extract the original assets.
- The models may be included in larger projects such as animations, renders, games, or promotional materials, provided they are integrated and not offered as separate downloadable content.
- It is not permitted to use any of these models or textures for training, generating, or improving artificial intelligence systems.
- The author retains all intellectual property rights. Purchasing a license grants the right to use the models under these terms, but not ownership of the original files.
- Credit to the author is appreciated when feasible, especially in educational or public showcase materials.
By using the purchased content, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
Add-on Licensing
This section covers the paid add-ons, separately from the model and asset licenses above. AXIS add-ons (such as FiberBake, AXIS Core and AXIS Panel), sold through their respective marketplaces, ship under a dual license. The same terms apply to every AXIS add-on.
Code (GPL)
The add-on's Python code is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later (GPL-3.0-or-later), the license Blender add-ons built on Blender's API are distributed under. You are free to use, study, modify and redistribute that code under the terms of the GPL. The full text ships as the LICENSE file inside each add-on.
Bundled assets (commercial license)
The assets bundled with the add-on (the .blend files and their node groups, plus any included meshes, HDRIs, icons, presets and documentation) are not covered by the GPL. They are licensed for your use under the commercial terms shipped as the TERMS.txt file inside each add-on. Your license covers 1 seat (Individual) or up to 5 seats (Studio).
ALLOWED
- Install and use the add-on on your own machine for personal or commercial work.
- The output you create with it (baked textures, exported OBJ or FBX meshes, saved presets) is yours outright, royalty-free, for any project, commercial or not.
NOT ALLOWED
- Redistributing or reselling the add-on as a product.
- Extracting or repackaging the bundled assets (blends, node groups, meshes, HDRIs, presets) on their own.
- Including the add-on or its bundled assets in any other product, pack, bundle or library, free or paid.
Ownership & disclaimer
Antonio Solano holds the copyright to each add-on. The code is offered as free software under the GPL, and the bundled assets under the commercial terms above. Nothing in the asset terms limits the freedoms the GPL grants over the code. Each add-on is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and the author is not liable for any damages arising from its use.

Refund Policy
Scope
This policy applies to all digital products (3D models, add-ons, documentation, and related files) available through the official stores on external marketplaces.
Sales Through Marketplaces
All purchases are processed by the marketplace where the transaction was made (CGTrader, Gumroad, ArtStation, TurboSquid, Fab, RenderHub, SuperHive, etc.). Because payments are not handled directly, any refund request must be submitted through that platform's support system. I will cooperate with their team to ensure a fair resolution.
Digital Product Policy
Due to the nature of digital content, all sales are final once the files have been downloaded. Please review the product description, preview images, and documentation before purchasing.
File Errors or Defective Downloads
If a file is corrupted, incomplete, or does not match the description, open a support or refund request on the marketplace where you purchased, including your order ID and a brief description. A corrected version will be provided, or the refund process will be confirmed with the platform's support.
Duplicate Purchases
If you accidentally purchased the same product more than once, contact the marketplace's support with your order details, and they will process the duplicate refund per their policy.
Technical Compatibility
Before purchasing, confirm that your Blender version, render engine, and hardware meet the listed requirements. Refunds cannot be issued for incompatibility when the product functions as described.
License After Refund
If a refund is approved by the marketplace, your license to use the product terminates immediately. You must delete all copies of the files and stop using them.
Marketplace Conditions
When purchasing through any official marketplace, the terms and conditions of that platform also apply, including its payment system, refund policy, and license framework. All purchases, communications, and support requests must be managed through the same marketplace where the transaction was made.
These marketplace conditions work together with the author's usage terms and license, ensuring a consistent and transparent experience for every user.
Questions?
If you're unsure whether your intended use is covered by the standard license, get in touch before purchasing. Happy to clarify or arrange a custom license.
